to a favorite beach bar of mine yesterday. It was a little over 3 hours because of all the transfers, but it was an easy trip. Unfortunately I had some hiking to do inbetween trains, so I didn't eat reakfast or have anything to read.

I left my house at 940, arrived just after 1. It was about a two mile walk from the train station to the beach/bar. I spent the aqfternoon drinking bloddy mary's, eating clams, singing songs, and visiting with a couple of friends who stopped by. It is my last weekend off and I am glad I did it.

I slept most of the way home, didn't miss any connections, and slept in this am. I feel pretty good. I dare say I am ready to go back to work. We are off next Saturday, but will only have two days off between next Sunday and November 29th. It is a long stretch, but I am ready.

I am going to really focus on my weight loss goal, be peristent about getting in shape, step, by step. I thnk I am headed in the right direction.

I had just finished a light 20 minute workout on the bike. I was on my way to the free weight area, and thought I would stop for a drink. There is an ice/water machine in the large room with treadmills and bikes at my health club. Next to it are several stacks of 16 once cups, which are short but nice and wide.

I filled my cup half way with ice, followed with water, and stepped to the side. Immediately after me, a young man, fit and in his late teens, attempted to do the same. Unfortunately, he knocked over the stack of cups, and two fell to the ground. I watched as he completely  ignored this accident, filled his cup with ice and water, and went on his merry way.

I just shook my head, picked up the two cups and threw them out. I thoughjt to myself, "Asswipe. I wish your parents were here."

I posted a serious political commentary yesterday......only one person stopped by my blog and commented....and they didn't even write anything.

This past week I acted like an Asswipe................and my Blog was a revolving door, plenty of comments, plenty of votes.

So my problem is who is the Asswipe, me or you??????
